A Mornington Peninsula property with a rock climbing wall leading to a hidden room, a barn bar, and a homemade golf hole with bunker proves popular with kids and adults alike.
The owners of a Mornington Peninsula home with a rock climbing wall leading to a secret loft, a barn bar and a homemade golf hole are hoping their home will take home a big sale.
The golf theme at the Hamptons-style property continues in the barn where a mini putting green has been transformed into a light fixture and suspended above the pool table.
The house at 6 Soderlund Place, Somerville also contains a theater room with a dry bar and blackout curtains, while the barn houses another bar.

The spectacular property is for sale via expressions of interest with price hopes of $2.5-2.8 million.
OBrien Real Estate Frankston Tia Milne said a separate bungalow and a solar-heated fiberglass saltwater pool next to an outdoor pool house complete the package.
Ms Milne said the many cards to be drawn from the house had generated a lot of interest, especially from expats returning from Canada and the United States.
“One of the bedrooms has an amazing rock climbing walkway to a secret loft with a TV and ottomans,” she said.
The feature has been popular with potential buyers of all ages.
“Even adults who want to climb up there,” Ms Milne said.
Sellers set up the golf hole and bunker after cutting down trees and leveling the divot-filled terrain.
“It helps owners get out there to hit balls and relax, they love it,” Ms Milne said.
“It’s great, there’s so much to do, if you don’t feel like laying by the pool, you can go golfing.”
The owners planned to leave their pool table in the barn when they moved in, she said.
“Above, the light feature is a small putt putt green, where the golf ball holes have LED lights,” Ms Milne said.
She said the owners loved the peninsula and wanted to stay in the area, but were downsizing now that their children had grown up and moved out.
CoreLogic records show the property last sold for $940,500 in 2017.
Closing of expressions of interest at 3 p.m. on June 4.
