Ishaan Khatter finds new love in rock climbing

After achieving a muscular physique through weightlifting, calisthenics and other forms of exercise, actor Ishaan Khatter is now trying his hand at rock climbing. Ishaan recently shared a series of photos on his Instagram page where he is seen showing off some raw skills while practicing the adventure sport. “Does anyone make an Indian Spider-Man?” he wrote in the caption.

Rock climbing is an adventure sport that requires immense strength and endurance and is considered one of the most physically demanding sports. In rock climbing, one climbs natural rock formations or even artificial rocks mainly by using one’s muscles.

Being so strenuous, climbing is not everyone’s cup of tea. Ishaan Khatter seems to be pushing all in to improve in the sport. In one photo, he is seen standing on top of a rock he successfully climbed. While showing off his incredibly muscular body, the actor ditches the shirt for the climb.

Although rock climbing is an outdoor sport, Ishaan is even seen practicing it in a house. He deftly scales a rock face with his climbing shoes and chalk bag hanging from his waist. Besides being a favorite thrilling activity for adventure junkies, rock climbing also carries significant risks of serious injury. Keeping this in mind, Ishaan does not forget to attach a safety harness while climbing the rocks.

While rock climbing, you have to engage several muscles at once. From the legs, shoulders, biceps, and forearms, every muscle helps you hold onto a rock and pull your body weight.

Other than that, rock climbing improves your grip strength. When an individual navigates through the naturally formed rocks, it also tests their mental toughness and thus improves their ability to solve problems.

Rock climbing can also be a great activity for burning lots of calories and becoming more agile naturally. It also works on body balance and can be practiced to gain strength, muscle and endurance.
