This tour puts the best crags of Chile and Argentina into one fantastic lineup.
Santiago, Chile - Enjoy the traditional and sport climbing areas of Canyon del Maipo, and surrounding area, while enjoying the sight and sounds of Chile's largest city. Climbs vary from one pitch sport climbs, to trad climbs over ten pitches long.
Los Arenales, Argentina - Near the infamous wine country of Mendoza, this area is extensive and in its infancy, with new route development a distinct possibility for adventurous souls. Several canyons fan out into big wall heaven. While most the climbing is traditional on quality granite, there are sport climbing venues as well.
Bariloche, Argentina - Sometimes referred to as the Yosemite of Argentina, this area boast up to a hundred granite spires dotting the mountain side. Routes often summit on narrow pinnacles, with a mandatory rappel to reach terra firma. It's fun collecting summit after summit in this mountain setting above a deep blue lake, with an adjoining refugio, or bunkijng hut, that makes and sells the best pizza south of the equator.
